Final Project: A Better Liveable Town

For this assignment, we as students are appointed as 'Mayor' of a dying city in the future, and is instructed not only to avoid/rebuild the city, but also create a utopia for the citizens. The extraordinary environment paths are Underground, Underwater, In the sky, Floating on water or Further enhancement of the current dying city, or a combination of 2 elements.

And just like most of my previous assignments, this project is divided into two parts, individually and grouping. Individuals have to create a report of the researches done regarding about city planning, and use the information to propose a new city which will be presented in video form. After that, each group of 5 have to create a model of a city which is chosen by our lecturers, plus a presentation board to show additional information.

My group members were:
Khoo Zer Kai (Leader)
Fong Wen Ying Cynthia

Chong Chin Pin
Tan Jingwei

Ee Yun Shan

Ee Yun Shan's town proposal got chosen so we have to build up a model based on her proposal. She was supposed to be the leader but due to some irresponsibilities (i'm so mean sorry), she didn't initiate most of the meetings and such. Kai and I initiated the meetings and the remaining teammates worked together and came out with what we can do.

#RelationshipGoals haha, joke joke

our progress throughout this whole model making though we regretted redoing it all over again but mistake made were something we all learnt

           Presentation boards:

        Final outcome, tadaaaaaaa:

VinYan's video bombing face and Kai's "without clothes" mistakes are like the bestest things that happened in this video.

Reflection:

Although this wasn't the way I expected my final project and presentation to be like, I am thankful that at least our presentation skills improved and were a bit more confident when we presented. Comments from the lecturers weren't really encouraging as well and I don't blame them for being straightforward. I wouldn't blame Michelle for not showing up for meetings and such. As a leader, I should have been more encouraging and I am pretty sure that if none of us depended on her, we would do great. I was rather happy that our town was special and different from the others as our buildings were all transparent.
