In this module students get to understand and deal with different ways of implementing their lateral thinking technique including various ways of thinking; how to explore and broaden their ideas and various application of lateral thinking. Students will also learn to integrate and interpret their ideas into a more apodicic form which can be interactive, presentable, entertaining or a form of visual design statement. Creativity is not something that people are born with but a skill that can be mastered and conveyed towards specific goals with astounding results.

- Apply practical, critical and creative thinking skills within a variety of academic assignments
- Recognise the characteristics of critical and creative thinking and their applications in students’ personal and working lives
- Identify the importance of expressing personal opinions as part of academic development and the
- systematic journey(s) taken to evolve these statements
