This assignment trains us to understand the fundamentals of certain business theories regarding human resource management, marketing, production and finance.
In groups of about 3-4 people, we are supposed to present a business plan in a 10-minute presentation. I grouped up with the boys for change, Chia Ting, Khang Wei and Wee Wee.
We had a hard time thinking of a business to talk and plan about as we do not want to have a mainstream one and ended up with Project Pieza, which came from the Project Ara; and Pieza because it means piece in Spanish.
We were inspired with the Project Ara and Phoneblok by Google and Motorola (the video above) and decided to innovate it and further explore this. As you can see from our presentation slides, we innovated Project Ara with a function that enables you to control your car. Here's a video of representatives of fone Gear explaining how what and why. I always enjoy group projects, it allows me to know my members better and since, the boys are my close friends, I get to know more about them.
However, thinking about a business to talk about. Group brainstorming and group work is very important. All members should participate in discussions as the saying says, two brains are better than one.
Setting up a business is not that easy as I thought it was and this taught me that nothing is easy, as long as you are willing to learn.
